It does several things genuinely well, and the difference shows up in how you actually use it through a normal day.

Mike from MikeTake3 reviews a lot of power banks on his channel. He gets sent quite a few, and most of them blend together. What made him pay attention to the MagAir came down to a few specifics: the battery technology inside, the charging speeds on both wireless and wired, and the hardware details that suggest someone actually thought about daily use before shipping this product.

Semiconductor Battery Tech Is Not Just a Buzzword

One thing Mike specifically points out about the wireless charging experience: because of the semiconductor battery technology, the MagAir doesn't overheat during wireless charging. That matters more than it sounds. A lot of power banks start fast and then throttle down hard once they heat up, which means your "15W" or "25W" becomes something much slower in practice. If wireless isn't fast enough and you need a real boost, the MagAir has an integrated cable that delivers 45W of charging. That's not just phone-charging speed. That's enough to charge an iPad, a Steam Deck, or even a MacBook Air.

Mike highlights the integrated cable as one of his favorite design choices on the MagAir. The cable has a clever connection point that lets you use it as a lanyard. So if you don't want to clip the power bank to the outside of your backpack, you can hang it from a strap using the cable itself. It's functional and it stays out of the way.

Pass-Through Charging Gives You Real Flexibility

The MagAir supports pass-through charging, and Mike walks through just how flexible this makes the setup.

The integrated cable works both ways. You can use it to charge another device out, or you can use it to charge the power bank itself. There's also a USB-C port at the bottom that serves as both input and output.

So here's what you can do at the same time: charge your phone wirelessly on the back, charge your iPad through the integrated cable, and use the USB-C port to either charge another device or recharge the power bank. All of that simultaneously.

Mike does flag one limitation worth knowing about. If you're charging three devices at once, the total max output drops to 15W across all of them. You're not going to get 45W on every device when the power bank is splitting its output three ways. That's just physics, and it makes sense given the capacity, but it's something to keep in mind if you're planning to charge multiple devices regularly.

 

The Hardware Design Shows Real Attention to Detail

Beyond the raw power specs, Mike spends time on the hardware, and it's clear ZEEHOO thought about how people actually handle these things.

Soft-touch back. When the MagAir is connected to your phone, it feels comfortable to hold. Not plasticky, not slippery. The material makes a difference when you're carrying the phone and power bank together as a stack.

Raised MagSafe area for camera clearance. This is a small detail that solves a real problem. A lot of phones now have large camera modules, and not all power banks fit flush against every phone. The slightly raised MagSafe ring on the MagAir means it sits properly on the back of your phone without interfering with the camera. It also helps you know the connection is seated correctly.

Digital display. The back of the MagAir has a screen showing battery percentage. Mike's unit is at 37% in the video because he's been using it. This isn't a row of four little LED dots that leave you guessing. You know exactly how much power you have left.

Low-current mode for small devices. This is one of those features that sounds minor until you try to charge earbuds with a power bank that doesn't have it. The MagAir has a mode that recognizes when you're charging something with a small battery, like sport bands, earbuds, or a smart ring, and adjusts the output so it doesn't shut down mid-charge. Some power banks can't handle the low power draw and just keep shutting off. The MagAir forces the right output for those devices and charges them safely.

Kickstand with a wide angle range. The integrated kickstand lets you stand the MagAir up for FaceTime calls or watching a video. Mike notes that it goes quite far back, so you can use it at a steep angle if needed. He does mention the kickstand could be a bit thicker to reduce wobble, though the hinge itself is firm.

What to Keep in Mind

Mike wraps up by noting that the total output across all devices drops to 15W when you're charging three at once. It's not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of if you regularly need to fast-charge multiple devices simultaneously.

The battery technology is genuinely different from what most people are carrying. The charging speeds are fast enough for phones, tablets, and laptops. The hardware details show someone thought about how these things get used in real life, not just on a spec sheet.
